Chardonnay, Resonance
lemon curd • hazelnut • taut
This is Oregon Chardonnay with serious Burgundy credentials and absolutely no need to show off. Expect lemon curd, crisp apple, and subtle orchard fruit layered with a savory, nutty undertone and a clean, mineral line that keeps everything feeling focused rather than plush. It’s textured, but controlled. Rich-adjacent, not rich.
Resonance is the Oregon project of Maison Louis Jadot, founded with the explicit goal of translating Burgundian precision to Willamette Valley sites. The vineyards sit in some of the region’s most prized ground, where cool climates and long growing seasons favor tension, acidity, and quiet complexity over obvious ripeness.
Chardonnay here is treated with restraint: fermented and aged in French oak to build structure and mouthfeel, not flavor dominance. The oak supports the wine rather than announcing itself, letting acidity and site expression stay front and center.
This is a Chardonnay for people who say they ‘don’t usually like Chardonnay’—and then finish the glass anyway.
Fun fact: Resonance was one of the first high-profile Burgundy maisons to invest deeply in Oregon, helping cement the Willamette Valley’s reputation as a world-class region for cool-climate Chardonnay, not just Pinot Noir.
