White Rhône Blend, Dom. Combe au Mas 'Bouquier'
Combe au Mas is the passion project of Thomas Ayoun and Marie-Sophie Jullien. These young guns farm 8 hectares of vineyard in Mont Ventoux applying an incredibly conscientious approach including strict adherence to organic viticulture, polyculture, and biodiversity. These vineyards are loved and cared for like few others. Their white wine, the Bouquier Blanc is a pretty blend of Vermentino, Roussanne and Grenache blanc. Like all of their wines, the Bouquier is vinified in tremendous, 100+ year old amphorae. The result is an impeccable balance of richness and freshness accented by wildflowers, juicy pears, and salinity. For a region with a subtle reputation for clunky whites, this representation is just really pretty.
