Vin d'Alsace White Blend, Jean Biecher

Fine blend of different varieties [such as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling & Gewurztraminer], Marie Vin d’Alsace aims to be a perfect introduction to their 1762 range. This wine is both spontaneous and light, adopting a direct approach without caring about embellishments. The color is clear with green hints underlining its characteristic freshness. The nose is delicate and appealing. The bouquet is subtly fruit and floral: citrus fruits, white flowers, freshly-cut grass. The palate is approachable and delicate, framed around vivid acidity. 

Named after the first vintage made by the Biecher family, the 1762 range is a vinous exploration of Alsace heritage. It’s intended to be a picture of Alsace, seen through the lens of her mature vineyards, in a given vintage. Therefore, the cuvée is composed of rare and extraordinary parcels of vines.
