Sangiovese, Collecapretta 'Le cese'
"Le Cese" 2018 is a great red wine produced in Umbria by Collecapretta, the winery of the Mattioli family. It is a natural wine produced in the respect of nature with 100% Sangiovese grapes coming from vines cultivated in the hills with the traditional espalier system.
Collecapretta winery produces wines in respect of nature and territory, in the vineyard are not made any chemical intervention and the only help given to plants is through the manure produced by the animals of the winery, in the cellar are made only spontaneous fermentations with yeasts coming from grapes or from the cellar, the wine is not clarified nor filtered and sulfur dioxide is not added.
"Le Cese" Collecapretta has a beautiful purple color in the glass with a tendency to ruby, it releases hints of cherry, violet, leather, underbrush, roots and humus. In the mouth is a full bodied and juicy wine which consistently follows the nose, the acidity which accompanies the wine throughout the sip stands out.
