Godello is a white variety of wine grape grown in northwestern Spain, in particular in Galicia. The French equivalent would be called Chenin Blanc.
Light yellow. Lemon curd, pear skin and white flowers on the mineral-tinged nose. On the palate, an array of citrus and orchard fruit flavours are braced by juicy acidity and sharpened by a jolt of white pepper. Finishes stony and long, with very good clarity and an exotic touch of anise. This wine was raised in a combination of French oak barrels and stainless steel vats.
Fermented in its lees at low temperatures, 50% in stainless steel and 50% in French oak barrels
