2020 has been a year of many firsts for Crooked Stave. Their brewers are continually expanding their skill sets and whipping up some of the tastiest experimental brews we have ever made. They are really starting to flex their muscles with Patito Imperial Milk Stout. A 9.5% Mexican Cake inspired stout made with cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla and a touch of cayenne pepper. Cinnamon leads the way to lend an almost biscotti cookie flavor, followed by deep dark chocolate that combines perfectly with creamy vanilla and lactose. Don’t worry. The cayenne takes a back seat and only offers the slightest tickle of spicy flavor on the far backend. This is one of our most ambitious beers in 2020 and they absolutely nailed it.
