Cotes du Rhone, Domaine Santa Duc 'Les Quatres Terres'
A collection of plots of vines planted on the Vacqueyras, Rasteau (Crus), Roaix and Seguret (Côtes-du-Rhône Villages) communes. It is this collectivity that gave the wine variety the name “The Four Lands”. The grapes are harvested by hand with a strict selection process, then go through a short maceration process of only 20 days and partial destemming. They are then aged 18 months in 90% Stockinger Foudres and 10% in Amphora Jars (terracotta). This classic CDR consists of 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, and 5% combined total Carignan, Cinsault, and Clairette.
